Past Project
Examples

  • We were the evaluation partner for the Maribyrnong & Hobsons Bay Lead the Way community leadership project, led by Network West.

Initially we worked with the project evaluation working group to co-design a theory of change and a project monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework, ensuring clear goals and measurable outcomes from the outset. During project implementation we fostered a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating regular reflection and learning cycles. Finally, to ensure the end of the project evaluation report was comprehensive and included actionable recommendations, we provided PhotoVoice training and hosted an 'evaluation summit.'

  • Over several years we have worked with OurWatch on multiple projects:

    • MEL support for two DSS-funded prevention projects: Respect and Equality in TAFE and the Engaging Employees in Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

    • Final evaluation of the Engaging Employers project, including production of two learning briefs

    • Evaluation of upskilling pre-service professionals project in universities

    • Facilitated a learning enquiry for the National Primary Prevention Hub on strengthening evaluation approaches for preventing violence against women initiative

  • We led the evaluation for Vixen, Victoria’s peer-only sex worker organisation. The aim of the evaluation was to assess the impact of Vixen, including on the work, health and lives of sex workers, to inform ongoing strengthening of programs.

Data collection included interviews, focus groups and online surveys from sex workers, Vixen staff and partner organisations, and analysis of existing data and information. The evaluation included participatory sense making and co-design of report recommendations.

  • We were the evaluation partner for the WorkWell-funded Training for Respect project. Led by WHISE, this was a major initiative to establish sustainable systems and infrastructure for Victoria's adult education and training sector, to prevent and respond to work-related gendered violence, including in learning environments.

We facilitated the participatory development of a sector wide theory of change, and produced a strategy and MEL guidance for the Victorian VET sector.
